My name is Cristina Gutierrez and I am a co-founder and Treasurer of  VIDAS.   I graduated from Colorado State University in 2005 . I am  currently an associate veterinarian at the Humane Society of Boulder  Valley. It brings me great pleasure to help animals on both sides of  the border.

I live in Broomfield with my husband Mark, our daughters  Claire and Rebecca, our dogs Ty and Vinny and our cat Mariposa.

I have  been involved with this organization since it's creation and have  watched it become what it is today. I continue to be amazed by the  many wonderful people who come together with their skills and hearts  to help the animals and people of Mexico. I know that poco y poco - we  are making a difference!
