Sherwood Anders

Sherwood Anders participated in her first VIDAS clinic in Tulum in May 2005. It was a rewarding and wonderful experience! The most heartwarming part of the clinic was seeing the local children bringing their pets in to get shots and to be spayed or neutered. Four young children brought this puppy in who had a broken leg... after getting it splinted and keeping off the leg for a few weeks, the puppy will make a complete recovery! Sherwood is eternally grateful to VIDAS for the work they do, and especially for taking care of Mr. Cejas, a former beach dog in Akumal. Cejas came to the US with Sherwood in April 2004 and now lives a spoiled life in San Francisco with his dog sister Missy and eight cat friends, and Sherwood and her husband Bob.
