Many of you have met her if you have been to Akumal in the last year. Some of you know the story and have asked for an update. Lola, an Akumal beach dog, came home with Lydia Pontius, a freelance Web manager and video producer, after her trip in February 2003.
Lola underwent heartworm treatment, thanks to the kind help of many, and is doing great! She spends her days sleeping on the couch, playing with her friend, Nick.
Sometimes she and Nick get to ride in the car
and go for walks on the beach.
Lola is constantly showing her appreciation and affection to her new family.
